The classical routine of inverse Laplace Transform has been showed the limitation of all the existing DLS type instrument in Nano particle size distribution analyzer by using the intact routine in a couple of 10 years, that could not meet the requirments of rapidly developing Nano industry. Metrology industry cannot but satisfy the customers by means of simply advanced user friendly software. The remarkable development of a new conceptual HEAD routine provides the fantastic solutions to various unsettled problems caused by the old-fashioned routine.

The main design concept of "scatteroscope-I¡± is user-friendliness : reducing user's effort to get the analysis results. To realize such a concept, we have focused our resources on designing instruments with simple and versatile user interface and writing user-friendly software. Versatileness to cover nano & micro range without sacrificing accuracy and precision is possible by adopting DLS and PCS technologies. Our digital correlation board covers 1 microsecond to a few hundreds seconds which correspond to the particle sizes of nanometer to 100 microns. Highly efficient detection geometry design as well as the digital correlation board is the key feature for fast and accurate acquisition and analysis. A few seconds is enough for ~ 1 micron sample from loading to getting result (for samples in adequate concentration range). We have realized maintenance-free and robust instrument into a very small volume, and it is very easy to install the instrument. The connections to the instrument are a power cable and an USB cable to operating computer in Windows XP and 2000 environment. Compact design is also helpful for prompt action to A/S requirement.
